yea several people are but i am asking more than that for it for 150 i will through in someother stuff.......i think i have some of it parted out... but still is up for sale at the price i have listed...the fish should be gone today so the rest will be ready for pick up....thanks mickey carroll....ps you will need to clean stuff up because like i said it is up and running but no big deal if i buy anything i clean it first anyway...

125 for the filter is the cheapest i will go....what it doesnt have are the quick connects and you have to buy them extra when it is new it has spray bar and suction line all eheim parts.....filter is up and running know just fine....filter cost over 300 new...

You might want to check your Eheim 2028, the 2028 has a quick disconnect that sits on top of the filter and also has the shut off valve, it does not have the typical quick disconnects that come on the classic series filter like the 2217 for example.

thanks alfonzo it has the typical connects that come with it when it was new...its setup alittle diffrent than the 2228 but it is easy to clean and everything is there...i figured this would be the first thing to go.... o well if it doesnt sell for 125 i will keep it....mickey carroll

alfonzo i am not sure of age but it runs great...i added my own mix of media i think it has some carbon bags in it and i used lava rock for my main stuff.....and you are correct quick connects are there just like you said it just lifts off top of canister...thanks mickey carroll.......pm sent on light.....
