How much? Anything.... just starting out but I want to do it right. I don't want to have to keep upgrading as I go. Tends to cost too much that way. I want to have a tank that looks like this.

Im not sure my light is going to be your ticket...grasses like the ones in that pic require lots of light, and since they are at the bottom of the tank less light actually reaches down there. Most red plants need lots of light too.

I had two of these lights plus co2 over an 85 gallon dimensions 60L x 12.5W x 25 Tall and grew this...

The fixture I have is in the picture above...If you want it, Ill sell it for $60. I also have some brand new 24" geissman aquaflora bulbs and others if youre interested for $15 ea.

          Sound good I'll get up
With you tomorrow to take them off you hands.

          B.T.W. Do you think a 2 x 55watt hqi would be over kill on a 20gal tank

2 x 55w is overkill IMO on a 20g...Ill send you a PM back about the light.

Got to blast the foreground to get it to grow low like that.

I noticed you bumped thread, so im guessing you're interested. A friend gave it to me, so I never really looked at it too much til today. Just found out its 250w HQI, its probably more than you need. You also have to wall mount it. Might be a good idea to run the CF for 3 hours MH for 1-2 and then CF for another 3 hours.

                Is that grass or riccia?

I'm running a 150w MH on my 16gallon tank, its been doing pretty good so far. Thats roughly 9.375 wpg, riccia is doing great in that tank. Everything is growing insane.
