I had one for 5 years, he grew to 26". He was like a big puppy dog and would follow me around the room.
He loved to eat half a head of cabbage or a double handful of floating plants and any gold fish, plattys or guppies that were too slow to get out of the way.
I kept him in a 140g (6' x 18") tank and he did not play well with others. I started with 4 that were 4" and when they got to 7" they killed each other off. He spent a month in a hospital tank and when I put him back he killed his only surviving brother that had beat him up.
He also killed a 14" black knife when he was 9". When he was bigger I put an 18" pleco in his tank and he killed it ( I'm slow like that, just didn't think he could do that so I got another one and he killed it also)'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'Comment

shes just too big as for aggression she does well with smaller fish that are faster then her however anything that is bout her size she will beat up still avaiablable for 75 bucks or tradeComment
