  • Moving Sale-- Custom 58g Setup

    SOLD _ thanks

    Lowered Price $275 takes everything.

Everything you need to setup a showpiece coral tank! Closed loop system -- No powerheads needed.

Moving must sell everything. Unfortunately I have not had time to setup my tank since moving to Houston. It has been in storage for 2 yrs, and now that I must move again its time to sadly let it go. I had the tank setup perfectly for zoa’s and ric’s (my favorite) and also had great luck with several sps. For now selling as a complete setup $320 or make me an offer on pieces. Also willing to trade for scuba lessons. Please feel free to call or text as well 704-984-1605.

Tank – 58 g Oceanic Custom – Built in closed loop. See diagram below. I have a built in closed loop system as well as built in intake and return for the sump and fuge. No worries about overflow boxes!!
    Stand – Cherry
Sump/fuge – Custom built to fit inside stand. Refugium section, return in center and section for skimmer.

Pumps – 2 (that I know of for sure) Pond Master Mag drive 700 gph and 1200 gph.

    Skimmer – Remora Aqua C

Lights – Coralife ("36 Inch Aqualight Deluxe Double Linear Strip 2x96W" (already sold other set) Would need to add extra lights for sps

Salt – 4, 50 gallon packs of Instant Ocean Sea Salt (60 lbs). (Has been in storage for 2 years)

Lots of other extra’s – Heater’s, B-Ionic Solution, testing kits etc..I cant even remember what all I had – buyer of tank takes everything.

So the pump shown in the pics behind the tank is just for circulation and the other pump is the the refugium?

Yes. I want a closed loop system to really create alot of flow and current (sps, ricordia and some anemones love this). Then i put a Mag 12 in the sump/refugium. Notice too that the chambers to the refugium or skimmer side are designed to get rid of the bubbles.

            http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-08/totm/index.php -- why i used a Mag 7 for the closed loop
