  • WTB: 10 'small' Betta

I am having a banquet for an nonprofit organization tomorrow (saturday) night and the decorations committee was planning to use goldfish in bowls for the centerpiece at each table. I have seen Angels be used and Bettas, but the idea of goldfish (i'm guessing they were planning mini feeder type) does not sound like a good idea to me.

I was wondering if anyone on here can give me 10 bettas that aren't too big but not too small to where the fins have not fully grown. Or does anyone have another suggestion I can use? The bowl is a little more than 1 feet diameter with minimal height...Obviously 1 per bowl and if not bettas, then no more than 2per.

Just FYI, the theme colors are Gold and Blue...this doesn't really matter much but if the fish could compliment those colors...

I will buy them. Sorry for mis-wording, I wouldn't want to take something without giving something in return! =)

I don't have blues but I do have 10 nice celophane DoubleTail male betts for $15 each
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

For what you are looking for I would suggest just buying female bettas from Walmart. I'm sure inventory varies from store to store but more economical. Females would still have color but shorter fins.

                  Thank you for the advices.
PhishPhreek - thanks for the offer but for this event, i think your bettas will be too elegant for it...plus you live a big far away. haha =)
I will look around for females as you have suggested rrocket, but if nothing comes up, I will definitely head over to fish gallery to check it out. thanks

i might end up using guppies...
