broke down my saltwater tank and have about 20+ pounds of live sand. its been in my garage and under water for 3 days so its still good. i also have 8 baseball size holey rock (about 8 pounds) that i had as base rock, it's all still under water and doing fine, in fact one of the pieces has a small mushroom coral attached. for you freshwater folks you can just rinse it off and have some unique holey rock. best to text me at 281 804 0265 (before 10). or email me snoookfish@yahoo.com
