Ive got three 2-3 inch silver dollars, all male, that I would like to move to a better home. I bought them for my Aquatic Science class and they thrived marvelously in the 30 gallon I was assigned. However, its the end of the year and we had to move all the fish out of our tanks and either sell them or take them home.
I took the silvers home, foolishly hoping that they could adjust to a 10 gallon (going to college next year and only 10 gallons are allowed in the dorms) but they obviously need much more room than that.
Theyre very shy, and tend to "freak out" whenever someone walks by their tank too quickly, and I worry that, in such a small tank, they might hurt themselves.
Id like retail price for them, which, in my area (Memorial), is roughly $5, but prices are very negotiable.
One of the silvers has dark spots on both his sides, but he's had those since he was bought 9 months ago. He suffers no ill effects, eats well and behaves just the same as the other two.
