    WTB: Fish Stand 36x12"

    I am purchasing a 35 gallon tank and picking it up on Saturday.  Tomorrow I get a vacation day so I will probably head out to random places looking for one.  I am leaning towards something made out of wood with cabinets or a metal stand that has a bottom shelf that I could put another tank on (ie:no Walmart crap).  
    My usual fish stores are Petsmart (nothing there that big), Fish Gallery and Aquarium World is close to me.  I will probably look there but if anyone here can suggest a good place to get a fish stand.  I was also considering a furniture store.  Actual dimensions are 36.5x12.5"  

    And if anyone is selling a stand that fits I would be interested there too.  Thanks.

    A 36" stand will be hard to find anywhere - suggest you use your phone.

    Or look at the plans for a dbl-stand "help im no carpenter"
    - reduce the dimensions to suite
    - go to one of the lumber yards that will cut the wood for you

      I got a wrought iron stand that can hold that tank. It was design to hold two 40g tanks. I had an add for it not to long ago, I think I was asking 30 for it. Have pics on that post, it was something like stands for sale. Not rusted,looks pretty new, came with the two 40g's tanks that I am using and didn't need the stand but it was one of those deals where the stand came with it. It is demensions are what you are looking for.

      Did your measurements on top tank holder and your measurements will fit this stand if your interested.

        I found that add with the pics add refreshed it for you to look at some pics, basic black wrought iron stand, nothing real fancy but is in great to really good condition, didn't find any rust spots after looking at it again for the first in awhile. It has been hanging out in the garage so it is a stand.

            I am in Clear Lake, right now I am stuck in Beaumont on a job and can't leave until the ship is loaded and the can't load the ship until the rain quits here. However, my wife is at the house and my brother can meet you there to get it out of the garage.

            45 South towrds Galveston. I am about 35 minutes north of Galveston and 10 minutes away from getting on the Beltway.
