  • FS: Big chunk of submersed growth HC (Dwarf Baby Tears)

Well, I kinda' let my HC grow a bit too thick.
The leaves underneath continued to pearl and big air pockets kept building up underneath the carpet.

I had to poke holes in the carpet daily to let the air pocket out, but that wasn't enough.
Eventually the air pocket uprooted a big chunk of my carpet.
I don't feel like trying to replant it, so I'll just sell the big chunk and let the rest grow back in again.
The front of my carpet is fine, so that's not for sale. What is for sale is the back half.
    I've measured it and it's approximately 12"x6".

If I do my math correctly... 12"x6" is 72 square inches.
HC is typically sold in 2"x2" pots or 4 square inches for about $5 a piece.
    72/4 = 18
So, I'm selling approximately the equivalent of 18 pots of HC.
    18 x $5 = $90 give or take.

All I'm asking for is $50, firm. No low-ballers, please.
Plus, HC pots sold in stores are typically immersed growth. So, you'll likely get some melting while they acclimate to submersed.
Mine have been grown entirely submersed. So, melting shouldn't be a problem.
No guarantees though. Every tank is different.

If you're interested please PM me or shoot me a text message at 713-291-7788.

I'm a full time student, so I'm busy with college. Best times to meet me up would be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays after 1PM or the weekends... if I'm not studying.
I live near Reliant Stadium off 90 (Old Spanish Trail) & Cambridge St.

    Thanks for looking!

Willing to split it in half.

          6x6" for $30 each or 12x6" for $50.

Got tired of trying to hold the back half down and cut it out. It's about 10"x5", now.

I have it set aside in some tupperware at the moment.
I kinda' had to scrunch it up to fit it in there, as you can see in the following picture.

I'm on spring break, but I won't be at my place this weekend.
If you're interested, the best time to pick it up is this Monday and later.
I'm not holding onto this for long. If no one wants it, it's going in the trash.

                Sorry, not looking for trades.
I've already got plenty of moss and no place for java ferns.

                Still available.
