Im looking for some silicon seal to seal my bulkhead. I move my cousin aquarium yesterday. It had all the piping so i just saw it. I misplace my silicon seal somewhere around the house and cant find it. If anyone have some thats willing to sell or borrow please let me know. I stay on the northside of town and ever since sunny fish pet closed there no other close to my area.

Re: silicon seal
I use GE Silicone 1 available at any Home Depot or Lowes...I have some too... but I'm not very close to you. Hope this helps.Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Re: silicon seal
Why would you put silicone on a bulkhead? If installed properly, it can be hand tightened enough that it will never leak. I've never used silicone or any type of tool to tighten bulkheads... and not a single one has ever leaked. If you need any tips, just let me know.

Re: silicon seal
Just like wearing a belt & suspenders !!!
It can't hurt..................'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
