Does this seem suspicious and overpriced to anyone else?

The same tank dimensions at glasscages.com is about 680 gallons and only costs $3500
Unless it comes with $3500 worth of stand This isn't even close to being the asking price let alone $12,000

Think they are trying to turn a profit? or even have the tank?
"Our loss is your gain since we have never taken delivery of this tank and can have it shipped directly to you"

Sounds like they want the money and then they will have it shipped to us from someone else.

I think it is Houston, TX and New Jersey. His # is an (832) prefix...
I also noticed the 2 different prices.  :?

remember the discussion about depreciation in the 300 gallon tank thread, depreciation starts at the lowest price you can find the tank for. what he paid isn't important. it is worth now half what i can find it for which is no more than 4500 + shipping (and i'm not paying for his shipping)

if he NEEDs to get rid of this tank i bet the most its worth is 3k unless a business is looking for exactly this tank. and thats only if he has decent info and seems trustworthy. right now.... i don't think so.

the builder for these tanks are not too far from me, they are expensive HQ tank builders. still it is way over even there inflated price with shipping.

the pics are stock pics from there site.
