i just looked for that bookmark, but because i build my tanks and this builder is far out of my range i did not keep it.
when i move to friendswood last year searched for a new tank to hold me over till i build one, thats when i found them.

I some times see some of there tanks being sold on ebay, they only build them if you order them but i guess they make one or so for sale every now and then.

I just seen one on craigslist, it was used but the owner had a link to the place he got it and it was the same builders. that was a 96L x 60H x 36W tank, i`d love it but 5k is far too much for me.

Just a poll, what do you think would be a reasonable offer.
assumptions
1) he's paid for it  already.
2) the builder isn't outside of houston (cheap shipping)
3) the stand is of similar price and quality to the tank
4) the tank is as described
5) the seller is legit.


The tank was ordered from a leading aquarium designer for a commercial application that did not materialize

sounds like someone was going to install this tank in a new? business and then the business didn't happen. don't they usually pay for the tank before its ordered? if thats the case the tanks paid for and he's just milking it. or am i off somewhere

Check out the seller on Ebay He hasnt sold anything on ebay since 05. Also his purchases are not fish related.

Id bet he is selling for someone else and has no idea what he is dealing with.

The tank is being built by Aquariums For You, one of the nations best professional tank builders. Since this tank was ordered for commercial use this is a area we felt compelled to work with the best in the business. The glass is 3/4 in thick for the sides and has a 1 in multi layer thick bottom for added strength. The stand is a black powder coated stand made specifically for this tank and the loads and stresses it will endure. The stand is a structural piece that allows for any custom veneer of your choice to be installed over it. Any mill worker or contractor should be able to fasten any material to the stand to match the rooms theme and decor. The shipping and insurance has been paid for and as I understand it will not include the final installation and set up of the tank.
