  • Lake Tanganyika Fish For Sale

I will be moving in the next month or so, so it's time to start moving my fish out so I can tear down my tanks. Below is a list of what I have with prices. Prices are fairly firm at this time because I'm not in a huge rush to sell them. These fish are in a 90 gallon tank with heavy holey rock cover. Please don't ask me to tear the tank apart for 1 fish. I'd rather multiple people come at a time so I don't have to remove all the rocks a ton of times. If not, give me a few days to separate out to a holding tank what folks are looking to buy.

    Altolamprologus compressiceps (Gold) 4" - $50
Altolamprologus compressiceps (Looks similar to a Kalambo variant - has no barring at all with an almost white body and his face has bright yellow accents) 4" - $80 - I paid $125
    Burundi Frontosa 4" - $15
    Kigoma Frontosa 3.5" - $15
Neolamprologus helanthius - Breeding group of 4 with about 15 or so various sized fry - $45 for the group
    Neolamprologus leleupi 2.5" - $10
    Neolamprologus cylindricus 2.5" - $15
    Limnochromis auritus (4) range from 2.5 - 3.5" - $75 for the group
    Julidochromis transcriptus (2) - $10ea
    Congo Black calvus 2" - $10
Synodontis multipunctatus catfish group (5) All large - $100 for the group
Red Top Hongii (4) - $30 for the group
    Bristlenosed plecos 4" - $10 ea

If someone wants all the fish listed - $425

If someone wants to purchase a really nice worthy display setup - 90 gallon black trimmed tank. Ehiem 2217 and a Rena XP3 for filtration with a dual T5 light with all the fish........$650 for everything.

Tank and equipment will not be for sale if the entire package is not purchased so please don't ask about parting any of it out.

I'm limited on photos at this time to what I can take with my blackberry.

Sales are all first come first served....please bring bags or a bucket for transport.

Do you know the sex on the Limnochromis?
    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Unfortunately no, I don't know the ratio. I bought them from Fish Gallery a few months back when they were small hoping something good would happen with 4.

Looks like I'm gonna be moving sooner than I expected. How about $500 for tank, equipment and all the fish??? I'd like to have it gone by this weekend or next. Call me at 832-265-9946 for arrangements. If two people want to split it.....$250 for the fish and $250 for the equipment.
