i seriously doubt you got a chiller, UV sterilizer, 760W metal halide, calcium reactor, wave maker, and a RO/DI purifier, plus the tank/stand/live rock/fish for only $700.

the equipment on daisy's tank is what's worth the money.

I know what things are worth. I also know what things sell for on marsh as well.

I have seen 200 gallon tanks just the tank & stand sell for $300.00 there.

Look this is not going to be an argument. You can either accept what I said on not.

I guess when you go by a used car you are willing to pay the same price as the new sticker price.

You can also go on marsh & find out for yourself what things go for there as well.

WV: I agree with you. I frequent marsh...much more than fishbox and things go for dirt cheap or they don't sell there.

Daisy: The setup sounds amazing...but maybe you should consider listing of houston craigslist because you haven't had any replies on marsh that i've seen for that price. Amazing set up though and best of luck selling it. If you consider parting out you may be able to get a bit more than what you're asking. You could always do a "checking interest" post and just see the possibilities. Just my 2 cents though. Best of luck in whatever you choose.

Thats a hell of a deal.  All of that if its a good brand would easily total over 3g.  My setup alone cost that much.  YEah Daisy I think you should put some pics up.  More people will be interested.

249 Fish & Pets is the LFS i was talking about. it's on HWY-249 at Cypress N. Houston, i think - it's next to the fireworks warehouse.

I'm not sure if Kevin still runs the place, but he sold 150 bow tanks with stand, canopy and light, for $330. 220gal wasn't much more, but not bow-front. last i checked, that wasnt 200% of the price from internet vendors.

It's 100g Odyssea with no light for $300

It is brand new but not sure how much it is now with the new owner. Kevin gave me some really good deals but I have never seen a 220g for anywhere near $300.
