I went to Petcos this morniong and bought a 50 for $1 a gallon. Due to space limitations, the filters will hang on each end. I need a submerisable (?) heater and large air pump. I'm also interested in another 30-60g water filter, preferrably a Marineland Penguin 200.

I have a HUGE collection of driftwood. I may use a couple pieces but would like to trade the rest for some holey rock with holes.

Can anyone help? Can't p/u this weekend as my allergies have gotten the better of me, I've totally lost my voioce and I feel like cr*p. Next weekend when I'm feeling better.

I have submersible heaters, air pumps, 1 medium size piece of holey rock left and Aquaclear 70 power filters. If interested pm for info.

Interested in the heater, air pump and holey rock. Do you have a picture of the holey rock?

Lib, I have a pair of 24" light hoods, but they have slots for filters on the back.

        Were are you located?

I'm just west of Lake Conroe and just east of Montgomery on 105. Since I want to put the filter on one end of the tank so I can flush the tank against the wall, I think what I've decided to do is just buy a piece of plexiglass and set the lights on top of that instead of a light and hood combination. It will keep the water from evaporating like it does with a hood. I'll cut a piece out in the front and glue some small hinges on it so I can open it to feed.

Thanks anyway for your note. Guess I better revise my ad, uh?

Petsmart has the Marineland 350 on sale for $24.99 until Monday.

Also this forum has a good suggestion for diy hinged lid.
