I have some rotalia plants that I just trim from my tank.  I have about 8-10 stems each.  Not sure of the exact name.  One kind the leaves are red and broad.  The other is tiny leaves that are pink.  I also have some kind of plant that I will trade for some other plants that I dont have. It looks like a bamboo.  I know its not a bamboo plant because they dont survive in water.  The rotalia plants are free.  If someone that is just starting up a tank and need some plants they are free.

Maybe you could bring them to the HAS auction on Sunday?

What part of Houston are you in?  I would like some of the broad red-leafed plant - and maybe a couple of pieces of the pink leaved one.  Some variety in the green would be nice.

Before I get my hopes up though, are they high light, low light or middle of the road plants?

Do you have a photo of the bamboo like plant?

Hey I have a pic of the bamboo plant. Sorry didnt take one of the bottom half.  You can see it in this picture.  Its the one with small tiny leaves.  I dont have the pic of the other plants.  Dont you have to be some kind of member to go to that auction?

                Re: free plants

If the bamboo like plant is the one with long narrow leaves then I'm interested - I think it would look nice in my red cherry tank!

What are the light requirements for the plants?  What sort of plants are you looking for to trade with?  I don't know what half the stuff I have is called - but I can take pictures!

What part of Houston are you in?

                Thanks,

I think this is what the "bamboo" like plant might be...
