Male Blood parrots are infertile, the females are fertile. But you don't have to take my word for it, just watch this vid

I also breed Flowerhorns, they're hybrids as well yet they reproduce readily

Well if they're larger than 4" then you can vent them. Males will have a V shaped vent and females will have a U shaped vent. The link will give you a general idea.

I have a pair and I think I have one of each. One stays orange all the time but the other moves rocks and goes from deep orange to almost white and gets real territorial over her "area". I've read the females act this way. She is over 4". I can text you a pic if you want. PM me your number

WOW, It's beautiful! Are you sure its a female? IME, Males are the ones that are highly aggressive.. The fish stores in my area didn't let me vent them so I ended up making wild guesses and ended up with males. Try venting yours for me please? And that white saum in your avatar is amazing.

@Cichlidfarm, judging from your avatar, I see you're against hybrids. Well, I've been on too many debates with "purists" to know that they just hate hybrids because well.. they just do.
