Cherry Red Shrimp

Does anyone breed those guys and have some for sale/trade?
I know Fish Gallery have them for 3$ a piece but they are very tiny.
How about Cristal Red? Anyone?

Theres a couple of people on here that sell the Red cherries. I dont know about the Crystal reds,.

Yeah I been to couple places too some don't have them and some just are too small....

I would also like to buy some saw some in aquabid but I just don't want that many.....

Shrimp have been busy! $1 each plus $7 shipping up to 20 shrimp. Add $1 extra for shipping if more than 20 ordered.

Let me break down the existing tank.....I am moving my Cherry reds to another tank and could split some off...


I also have A+ grade CRS but it will be a while before I start selling those.

It will probably be a few weeks before I sell those....had a good shrimplet group going but I kinda screwed with the co2 without double checking and it kinda gassed the little ones to death.

I will pm/post them up when it comes time.


As for RCS I usually sell at $1ea. and there are other locals that sell them for $1ea too.....On APC the members there sell for $1ea + shipping. With most LFS the shrimp there are old and with the short life span of shrimp that makes for an expensive shrimp.

Thanks for the link. Anyway I decided to buy locally. Last time I received 20 CRS and only 1 made it. So I learned my lesson I don't want to risk. I have couple Amano shrimp and only one old female RCS so she needs a companion, just couple red guys like she.

RCS= Red Cherry Shrimp


I have had good luck with getting shrimp shipped....Red cherries where simple since they were cheap but I have even had hundreds of dollars worth of CRS shipped and zero fatalities.

But I feel your worries.....I was actually going to move my RCS into their new home today which would have made it easier to count/catch them.

How many are you interested in Bogdan? Do you have a home for them already with safe tankmates?

I also bought some from Ebay a couple of months a go and out of 20 none made it but the worst thing was that I also didn't get money back the guy who sold them to me closed his account supposedly he had a little problem when he shipped them    well horrible site when they arrived and no money back....

I'm going to try to find some near by since I live so faraway for good LFS
I guess about 5 wouldn't cost so much
