    I started out with six RCS--- it didn't take long for 6 to turn into 36. I think that is half of the fun anyhow.

      I've gotten them on aquabid from seller H2eau and neither time did I have any fatalities.  The guy uses breather bags and does't cram 20 in each bag.  I just took 3 neons and 2 simulans out of my cherry tank as I suspect they are the reason I've seen no fry in the last month or more.  hopefully now my numbers will stop dwindling.

        The members of PlanetInvert.com are all well known on other forums as well and they have experience with shipping.

        Most sell their shrimp for much less then LFS even after shipping.

        Just have to find another hobbyist out there that cares for them as much as the next instead of the "out to make a quick buck" guys and you should be good to go.


        I personally would rather take my chances with this then buying old stock from a poor LFS.

          eklikewhoa,

          All I need is just a couple (no more than 10) RCS. My Amano and the last RCS live in a 90G community tank. However I have 10G with some Java moss ready just for shrimp. If they reproduce I will transfer them to the community tank.

                  Broke the 2.5g down and netted most everything out and think there was over 100 of these little boogers running around.

                  Will start pm'ing or will start a thread with them for sale possibly next week to give them time to settle back down.

                    Let me know when you are ready to sell some.  I have a 5 gallon setup with ghost shrimp that could use some new friends.
