  • Wanted: Brine Shrimp Eggs

I'm thinking of starting a brine shrimp hatchery for my betta frys.

Please PM me if you have any for sell or post if you know of a store that sell eggs w/ high hatch rate.

You can try aquabid.com they have a live food section. But to be honest BBS is sometimes to big for most betta fry.

You should try inforsia or vinegar eels. Its real simple to make on your own or you can just buy cultures on aquabid too. Hope this helps any.

I didn't want to order any but thank you!

Right now I have some microworms and vinegar eels for them if I can't find any BBS locally.
So is newborn brine shrimp is too big for frys?

Oh ok just thought I would thro some more options your way. But the vinegar eels and micro worms should be fine.
But as far as locaLly city pets and fish gallery will carry bbs but not in large quantities.
But yeah new born BBS can sometimes be to big but betta fry are so aggressive they will tear the legs off the BBS.

Ah, thanks for the shops. I'll call them tomorrow to see if they have any in stock. I don't think I'll need a whole bunch.
Lol. I'll wait another week or so before feeding them BBS. Maybe when the frys are bigger they can all eat them whole
