I didn't want to post who got them just in case she wanted to lay low from the bombardment of pm's but I am glad they went to her.....That way I know the new caretakers can provide for them financially and mentally.

Also having friends to join them helps too!

these fish are beautiful, but i think if one if them died on me I would never get into the hobby ever again (because of lack of funds and the sorrow)

You think having a zebra die is bad?

I was out of the fish game for a good while......cared for an Asian Gold/Green Arowana for 14yrs and was offered over $10k for it after paying $2k for it when it was a baby........around the 15yr it had died from eating a pleco. :(

haha thats what happened to my dads friend...some of the local zoos offered huge amounts of money for arowanas..but then instead of selling it, one day it jumped out of the tank and died
