he's hard to measure, but estimating off the size of the other items in the tank, about 2 inches. Pretty good size :)

Just a tidbit from me.. I had a clown fish for quite a long time without an anenome. Also....friends of mine have 2 different varieties and no anenomes. And they have had them for a few years. So.... it isn't a requirement.

these days a very high % of clowns are captive bred and do not need an anemone for themselves

that's true, I would just prefer to have an anenome with my clown. Just personal preference- mine has done well without one.
