Wanted: WTB: Grand sumo chingmix ocean free xo or other flower horn food

Just loooking for some good flowerhorn food.

City pets carries it but I think you are better of with NLS cause the sumo is really high in protein which causes problems later on down the road

I thought that with flowerhorns it is alright to have high protein in fact most of the flowerhorn food is quite high 45%+

FH's are not carnivorous fish. The amount of protein and carbohydrates(Hard to break down) that is in Grand Sumo or any "specialty FH" food is not needed by FH's. Genetics, pristine water quality and a quality pellet will be all you need.(Large enough tank is a given) NLS is the best for your FH's. FH's are already genetically weak due to line breeding. Feeding a unnecessary food like Grand Sumo will only cause more problems.
