Do you know a vendor that sells them? Wetspot on aquabid will only sell them in M/F pairs, but since these are Harem breeders, 1M 3F is more ideal.
And I agree, these are some of the prettiest Apisto's out there and fairly hardy..

Fish Gallery had Melgar (wild) and Agassazi (sp?) double red. The Melgars seem really nice (a bit expensive for apistos, but it really works out the same with shipping), but not really interested in wild specimens.
Also, Aquarium Warehouse has a bunch of Macmasteris if anyone is interested.
I may just order them online and pay the 40 dollar shipping >.<Comment
