Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Well I have a planted 30 that I'm trying to rid of ramshorn snails. I'm pulling out as many as I can and transplanting to another tank. The assassin snails are insurance. So 5-10 I think will work.

If you try to hold assassin snails leave the rams-horn in the tank. It will be a feast to them. I noticed in my shrimp tanks if there's a short on regular snails the large adult snails will attack and eat the small assassins.

My assassins LOVE ramshorn snails. They ate all those before moving on to the MTS's. I have 3-4 assassin babies after introducing the original 2 only about a month ago!

Can anyone tell me why I haven't had any of the five assassins that I bought some time back eat any of my snails, I have mts, pond, and now ramshorn. I put three of the assassins in my breeder igloo that I'm breeding ramshorn in and they won't touch them?!!
