you won't go with a big co2 system? i think the 88 kit is way too expensive over time. if you're dead set on it, i believe green leaf aquarium carry the exact same kit marketed different for slightly cheaper. i just don't see it on their site any more.Comment

Drfostersmith.com has them at $45 while everywhere else are going between $70-$85 and the acrtiges are about $10 on ebay or about 12 on amazon with free shipping. My friend luis navarrow told me totry it out he has it and told me for a 10g its the perct set up and a cartige can last me easy about 3 months. And i jsut want to try it before i go deep with a more expensive equipment. What if planted really is not for me. I will be doen about $150 atleast on equipment vs $50
Also i will have red cherry shrimp on the tank with black sand. I am trying to make a tree looking thing with the drift wood the xmas moss and i been wondering if i can place bambo sticks in the tank. ( chop sticks to be precise)75g Tank,

oh, i have bamboo chars in my shrimp tanks. you can actually make them quite easily. if you plan on having about 6-8 pieces, i would buy it off ebay. but if you need alot, making it would be cheaper.Comment

not really. i plant on having a carpet of HC (baby tear) or baby hair grass, the rocks on the sides or back corners with the drift wood on the middle standing up and the chop sticks about 3/4 on the top with the xmas moss wrap around to make it look like a tree. ill show you a pic of what i try to replicate. http://faao.kicks-***.net/Fotos/Plan...70601HiRes.jpg

i havent seen the making of it but thats why i want to use the chop sticks as i know bamboo can be in water and it wont get bad. but thats just what i am shooting for. the owner of that tank is in portugal and is sponsor by Elos75g Tank,
