believe it or not, i have seen it in walmart lately for 5 bucks a pot...u have to get to it when it first comes in tho or they kill it and they only randomly get it. they also usually get nice crypts and red rubin swords, right before they put them in with the goldfish anyways

all walmart plants are potted and less than five bucks, mine actually has nice ones when they first come in. the crypt are normally huge cuz they are in shallow tanks under pretty good light. the HC gets algae pretty fast in there tho

So, I can just throw the HC in an unused tank outside with some water and it'll be fine and fast?

I've been looking in to Utricularia Graminifolia and theres been arguments that its bad for a shrimp tank and some arguments that it won't affect the baby shrimps. Thoughts? I just want some nice carpet that isn't moss and more grasslike, I already have Hair Grass.

There's a few other options and for that size tank you could get away with foreground that isn't super tiny like HC. E.Tenellus, dwarf sag, dwarf sword. etc.

Oh yeah........I forgot about the big tank. I was too focused on the shrimp tank. I'll try Glosso for the big one.
