Will buy a piece or take a clipping. I'm in the downtown area but happy to drive where ever needed to get it. I really like this plant but haven't found it in the stores in a while.

I'd love some Hydrotriche hottoniiflora, thank you! Do you want any crypts? I should have a bunch of crypt wendtii 'bronze' available by Monday. I'm about to tear them out of my 75g, and I know I'll only be using about 1/10 of what I have when I replant them back so I'll have a ton left over.Vicki

Very pretty! Your plants look very healthy and clean. I just tore out all my plants from my 75g so I can split them between my 75g and the 90g I'm setting up. My poor fish don't know what to do. The plants were so overgrown, they literally had no room to swim, and now the tank is completely bare of all plants! But it'll be good in the long run.
What setup do you have on your tank? Are you running any CO2 and dosing ferts?Vicki

That's funny. I can see from the sig pic that it was damn near a jungle! It looks amazing though! :)
I just started dosing with co2 last saturday. When I picked up the hydro, last friday, it was about half the size. Now they are bright and huge! I'm also fertilizing with flourish. I pair of t5's lights 10,000 and 12000 if I'm not mistaken. So far it looks like we're on a good path with lots of growth. The fish are very happy and the plants are definitely growing. :)

You're going to have plants growing out your ears very soon! The CO2 will do wonders for the plants.
The pic of my tank is pretty old. It didn't look anything like that when I started taking the plants out today. You literally could not see the fish because the plants were so densely grown in. I even stopped dosing CO2 because I honestly was afraid the plants would choke out the fish before I could get to them.Vicki

I had a full setup long ago. So I know how co2 really does kick things into overdrive. I'm so looking forward to it. I used to love pruning the plants and tweaking the layouts. This time I'm far more knowledgeable and doing tons of research.
I gotta express my gratitude. Pennywort is one of my favorite plants. I've been looking for it for a while. So I want ya to know I totally appreciate you hooking me up with a piece. :)
Speaking of co2, I really need to get one of those co2 measuring kits. I'm dosing at 1bps which is probably low. But I have plenty of co2 coming from the diffuser and you can see the tiny drops well throughout the water. Agh, it all takes time... :)

I've had the pennywort growing in one of my smaller tanks for a long time. I just threw it in, and it just kept growing. Every now and then I cut back the jungle in that tank and fish out some of the pennywort, but I haven't done it in a long time so it's bound to be pretty overgrown by now. I have pelvicachromis fry in that tank so I let the plants take it over to help give everyone lots of hiding places.
I like using a pH controller with my CO2. That way, the CO2 remains very stable, dosing only what's needed when it's needed.Vicki

I see a very minor fluctuation in pH. Upon establishing the tank, it stayed at 7.6. After a full day, the reading drops to about 7.4. I hope this isn't too much of an impact on the fish. I also run an air pump and bubble stone at night. Even in the morning, I can still see plenty of o2 bubbles floating around. I'd love to hear more about the co2 controller when you have time. :)

When you come over to get the pennywort, I can show you the pH controller and how it works.Vicki
