If you can get a little aragonite for the substrate of a 2 1/2 gal or so and put a few ramshorn in it they will breed good if you give them a few flakes. If I had ever or knew anything about shipping I could send you some, wish I could get rid of my snails. They get in the canisters and breed like crasy. You know I don't think I've seen a fish store without snails in their fishtanks.

I promise, I will look into it and get back with you. Do you have assess to a little aragonite. It shouldn't take much. Which kind of snails do your puffers prefer?I live for tangs@

If the snails you need are assessable, even in small numbers, then all you need to do is set up a small or medium size tank for them. They will breed prolifically if food is there, and maybe even better if other inhabitants are in the tank that will not eat them or their eggs. Some I believe have them in their shrimp tanks.I live for tangs@

If they like the crayfish then start you a tank of self breeding ones that need no mate.I live for tangs@

You could try Superworms for your puffers! They move when dropped in the water so your Puffers might take to them.
I usually order about 1000 of these and they last me a good while. Here's the site that I order them from: http://www.georgiacrickets.com/ It's 20 bucks for 1000 superworms..

The self breeding crawfish is a good option... Have you tried rainforest pets off 518 and 45. They usually have ghost shrimp in stock. Other than that you could order frozen clams from Drsfostersmith.com make sure you feed them something hard to keep their teeth trimmed before you have to trim them yourself
