    Did you breed the contradens?

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

PlanetCatfish indicates that the Hypancistrus contradens is different from the L201.

            Hypancistrus contradens: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...species_id=677

            Quote from that page:

Often confused because of the picture in Aqualog and originally thought to be Hypancistrus inspector - Hypancistrus contradens lacks the black edging seen in the unpaired fins of Hypancistrus inspector.

Most easily confused with L201 which is flatter, more finely spotted and is more slender and less high bodied than Hypancistrus contradens which also grows about 2cm longer.

            L201: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...pecies_id=2178

            Hypancistrus inspector: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...species_id=204

It appears the Hypancistrus contradens does not have an L number.
