Yep... i'm finally selling the very last pair of Betta Macrostoma.
I have have spent years working with this species and i think its time to hang up my coat.
This pair is non-sibling F1. Both eating tetrabits like pigs.
This pair has been living in a divided tank and have never spawned (because i just didn't have the time). Female is still gravid every month and male is extremely "willing" when he sees her through the divider.
NOT FOR BEGINNERS! NEED PH LESS THAN 7.0!!! (mine are about 6.5). If your tank is not CO2 injected or if you don't have any means of reducing the pH, please do not buy them! As you can see in the pic below, my tank is peat filtered.
I'm asking $100 for the pair but if you can convince me that you are able to care for them properly or are able to wean them onto local tapwater over several weeks , we'll negotiate.
