I would not recommend it. It might be okay, but it looks painfully cheap. I have never seen a regulator look anything like that. I wouldn't touch that thing even if it was free.Originally posted by Ballinxalex View Posthttp://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=45047001688

Don't buy the regulator from eBay they are from hong kong they will not fit your co2 tank with out mods ,I just got the aquatek on amazon at a good price and it's working really well and it's cool to the touch not superhot like my other co2 system
I got it with the 6 way splitter for $100 and it came with 6 bubble counters for free too 2-3 days shipping you can't beat it ,,,

+1 that regulator is threaded for metric thread co2 cylinders. it also doesnt have a SOV which i feel is a good thing to have. you dont NEED a bubble counter or drop checker. you can set bubbles in the aquarium water and then attach the hose to your diffuser. it wont move around after that until the cylinder pressure drops. i, however, do recommend having the checker and counter just for piece of mind. the set ups made for aquariums are pretty wimpy unless you get a 400$ setup from GLA. Get a quality regulator from a welding or CO2 beverage supply store or off ebay. Good brands are Victor, Veriflow, GO among others. You can get a better quality SOV too if you go that route.
Any of these SOVs in this style would be good (120VAC, 1/8" or 1/4" pipe thread, 2 way valve):
Some good regulators (single or dual stage, must have cylinder adapter for CO2 called CGA320):
NOTE: some of these have a CGA580 male thread adapter for use with argon or another inert gas. the regulator is the same and the adapter may be swapped.
Some good needle / metering valves (you can get them with 1/4" or 1/8" pipe connections if desired:

28G Aquapod - Medium Light Planted Shrimp & Microrasboras
12G Eclipse - Bonsai Planted Betta & Shrimp

45G Exo-Terra - Terrarium w/ Hermit Crabs (in progress)
33G Cubish - Vivarium w/ D.auratus 'blue & bronze'
