    +1 captive breeding

    i completely agree with you. coming from the reptile/herp community, we are persistant in stressing the need for captive breeding programs, and i was saddened to find out that manyof the fish i had considered adding to my shrimp-dominant tank (rasboras, danios, otos, etc.) are nearly all wild-caught.
