Sadly mistaken my friend. Not as common as a 10g but its there.

I recently bought and sold some from the sale so I know first hand and not hearsay. Honestly the 55g was actually not as many in stock compared to the 40B.


LFS don't keep them in stock cause no one knows about it to request it and the stand isn't as common so cost goes up there. Honestly most nice dimension tanks aren't in stock at many LFS.

40g breeder tank is specifically order tank. No petco/petsmark carries this size. Even expensive LFS don't have it in stock.

I was actually at petco yesterday and they had a 40 breeder for $110. Petco always has 40 breeders instock and when the $1 a gallon sale comes around they really are only a $1 a gallon.
