For Sale: new 40g predrilled with glass top, $80

I set up this new 40g breeder tank up and running and realize it was too small for me. The tank costs about $130 and glass top $65. I am asking $80 total for both the tank and top. Tank only, no overflow box or return pipe. It comes with two drilled holes on back panel, intended to use the overflow box from glass-holes.com. The bulkhead hole is 1 and 1/2 inch (a bit rough, but works) the return hole 3/4 inch You can also seal the holes and use it as a sump. PM directly if wanted. No holding. First come first serve

Wondering how this nicely filled tank is new and what made it so expensive?

You have pictures of the holes or where they were placed? This would be a nice replacement for my 30L

Not sure what you mean. This is a new tank, only used for 2 days. Have you checked out what the new tank costs?

40B cost $40 plus tax.

Petco/petsmart has their $1/gal sale every few months. The fact that its drilled might make the difference and if its low iron glass its a steal of a deal.

At any petco/petsmart. They have their sales and its $1 a gallon sale. Forget which one but one of them carry aqueon products and I recently bought one for 50 plus tax. They have the sale for anything from 10g to 55g for just a buck a gallon.

Typical price of fish gallery or aquarium world, although these are great stores are by far marked up to cover overhead.

Not knocking your price cause its still a fair price for someone in the market for it, I'm sure your comment about buying more was in defense of that cause if that was the case this one wouldn't be for sale.

Its a true and frequent sale that goes on. Search or google it and possibly save a ton of money in the future.

40g breeder tank is specifically order tank. No petco/petsmark carries this size. Even expensive LFS don't have it in stock.
