Dude, go to a pet store and find Albino Bristle noses.. They cost like 7-9 bucks. Surely you have that. Plus an overgrowing of algae means a lot of things, either 1, your water quality is really fail, 2, your tank is being exposed to too much sunlight, or 3, you're leaving your tank lights on for too long. Try these. If you really want to get something free, bust out a sponge and some elbow grease and problem solved.
