all the tanks at petsmart (that i saw(even the bare glass tanks)) come with lights/hoods.

I have heard no one claim to have done this, and if I was a Petsmart store manager, I would have alerted all my people about this petco ad and made sure they know to match the ad exactly and not add or give away any extra merchandise.

The other issue is that most all of Petsmart's bare tanks are Topfin anyway.  I only saw one All Glass when I was there on Monday.

I don't know how they could justify a price match.

Well yesterday while i was at petsmart i overheard the lady workign in the fish dept saying they would not be getting any new tank unteil after petco's sale ended.

So my guess is that it is only valid on All Glass brand tanks and if they dont have any then well they dotn have any and wont be gettign any anytime soon.



Oh and just so you know, i just got back from petco on spencer and they had a 55, 45, 2X40 breeders, and lots of 29, 20L and 10

On another thread I read last year on another forum someone did get the price match but just the bare tank....some did pull off getting the oceanic 40g cube for $1 gallon.

The Petco add from the paper doesn't say "All-Glass" only, but I saw one in store that said it was only on AGs. I was thinking of trying it once I saw that the add didn't specify any brand of tank. A 50 gallon Oceanic for $50 sounds pretty good to me.......

Theres a Petco on I45 around exit 89? (Loop 336 north/conroe) That has 2 x 45 talls, maybe 20 x 40 breeders, about 10 x 55gs, and a bunch of 20's.

They also had a corner AG tank(about 20-30g) but they wouldnt sell it to me for $1/gal.
