      I have friends that keep SSS+ CRS in tanks with just sand substrate and minimal plants using tap water for their infrequent water changes. It can be done. Do the shrimp like it? Probably not. Are they breeding? my friends say they see berried famales all the time... I laugh and tell them its their tanks killing the shrimplets. One of my main breeding tanks is a 20long with aquasoil, tons of moss, some HC, crpyts, driftwood, those lil fluval shrimp house thingy. Nice and Simple...

                          I am watching an Aquabid auction for 12 CRS grade S/S+ (v-type,tigertooth,half hino). Supposedly These shrimps are from my SS and SSS stocks, so he says they carry good genes; if this is true? Also he says his stock is of CRS and DBS, whatever DBS means?
