    Do you need just regular T5 or T5HO? How many lamps?

                    Not necessarily. But you can look up fixture on web. The bulbs will say ho or not.

                      Depending on bulb length and wattage you can tell for instance I believe a 48" is 54 watts and that's for ho

                        Not quite.

                        Coralife has an Aqualight 48" fixture that is not HO.

                        bulbs are 28 watts.

                          36" 39 watt

                          those are t5HO

                            There are also 48" bulbs that are 28 watts. These are not high output.
