I've been on the prowl for one and finally came across one that worked out and LOVE IT!

I use to run the Magnum 350 and those things polish like crazy and are cheap on the used market but so bulky and the fittings suck, the HOT is a BEAST and does away with crap extras.

Agreeed, I have been wanting one for awhile and have seen it for a decent deal on Big Al's. I wanted it as a polisher and wondered if it was worth it, I think you have me sold as soon as that money tree starts yeilding a bumper crop!!!

I'm gonna somehow line the media cartridge it comes with to hold purigen and the way these are set up it would fluidized the media to run primarily and swap to the polishing cartridge for after water changes.

Well I'm glad it worked out I've been wanting the nano for awhile and my cycle is almost done to where I can start adding corals and need some more movement in the biocube
