I have 2-3 mounted frags of Kallymenia red macro-algea. (ID'd by THE macro expert on marsh, quite rare and even rarer to grow spontaneously!
Grows vertically in "ropes"
VERY fast grower, perfect for both lowering nutrients and giving a deep red pop to your display.
This is a display macro, grows very well under 10k-20k lights, will recede and die if kept under refugium lights (8k, 6500k etc) However it's similar to cheato in that it will NOT go sexual, so no worries of crashing your tank!
Seems to love high flow.
