Happy Holiday Boxer's......

Like a few of you here on the box, I went out to Petco and bought three of those 1.00 a gallon tanks. I'm now in the market for a (2) 36 inch light assemblies and a 48 hood&light as well.

I'm also always interested in a good deal on a Emperor too, I use both the 280 and the 400 here.

Let me know if you have any of these items laying around and would like to get rid of them.

I have a single strip 48" light.  Switch doesn't work to well and there's no bulb but it's a light.  Call me tomorrow if your interested I think you have my number.

I have an Odyssea T-5 Lighting Actinic Blue and 10K White Bulbs and Ballast. With legs. Will let it go for $40.00.

Let me take a look at it for you CB, I might be able to get it working for you, I'm not a trained professional electrician, but I have some experience with toggle switch's and the like.

Okay, one more thing folks, I'm also looking for a stand for a 58 Oceanic Show Tank, the ideal stand would measure 37X19, and hopefully it would be about 27 inch's tall. Wood stained original Oceanic would be IDEAL if possible, but any stand with those measurements would really be nice.

PS.....Thanks EK, I have agreed to buy Walter's 48 inch light.  And don't forget, for Christmas I want a 250 gallon show tank, so keep your eyes and hears open everyone, cause I've been really really good this year..... 8)

If you do not ever find one, Andy at Fishland has a terrific builder that builds custom stands.

The stains he uses come really close to Oceanica Trim colors.

They are very well made, and not so expensive.

I 'd give him a ring.

My 60"x18" Stand, with a finished bottom was $185 plus tax came to $200 even.

So, I think a stand 37" x 19" would run $125-$160

I am not sure if the building has a minimum charge or not.

If you like tall stands, this would be a really good option here.

I'm not home to measure, but he builds them at 30" I think.  Same height as Oceanic Reef Ready Stands, it might be taller..

The stands are built from 2x4's, 3/4" Plywood, and baseboard/crown molding trim pieces with nice fixtures.  He builds them square and level, and really makes them look like furniture.

The stands are sanded down, then stained in Cherry, Light Oak, Dark Oak, and Black.  If you want the dark oak, you must tell him to stain it several coats.  He then seals the stand in Thompsons Water Seal.

I like the stands.  I think they look better than 98% of them that are out there.

I am not sure if any of the stands in Andy's store right now are these.  I know he also has a number of those cheap *** stands that Ocean Atlantis made.
