  • Free Fry

I've got some little guys that I need to find a home for. There are approximately 20 Mystery Fry coming from what I believe is a peacock mom and dad. No guarantee's on what they are, but you can have them if you are willing to pick them up. They are about 3/8's to a 1/2 of an inch long right now.

ONE CATCH HERE, if you are new to the box, I will have to hold back this offer from you unless you can convince me that these fry will not be tossed into the lions den. ( used as feeders)

PM me if you are interested in them.

    PS....Hanson, I get it now.....Mystery Fry....... :)

Mike .....if no one responds, do you want them?

    Re: Free Fry

I'm in the process of moving mine around so that my mystery fry are kept to a minimum.  Actually I'm pondering selling most of my Peacocks and getting more devoted to the Tangs.  I plan to keep either my 55 or 75 devoted to a few pairs that won't intermingle per say....but that's about it.

Is that Eureka Jake still the top dog in your Peacock tank?  If so....atleast your mystery fry will have a good orange color to them...LOL.

Yeah....that was about to get ugly.  Have any of your other males colored up at all or does he have pretty much everyone intimidated in that tank?

          Re: Free Fry ***GONE****

The tank is really quite blissful at times, but then there are some displays of aggression, but for the most part, the Eureka Jake controls the boundries and aggression, and does a good job of maintaining the peace in the tank. There are currently 3 female fish holding in it now.  Other males are only momentarily displaying brilliant colors but soon reduce their appearance to submissive states.

PS ...I have found the perfect foster parent for my Fry, thanks.

Well your short bursts of brilliant colors are the infamous mating rituals.  You may not have mutts.....but more than likely ya do.
