I also have some 36" lights

But they are T5 HO

So pricier than regular fluorescent lights

Thanks, Semper. I'm trying to stay cheap, tho. Starting your own business costs a pretty penny and being out of work for the last year along with taking in 2 more kids within the last few months has us eating Ramen noodles. Think I should probably stick to the cheap flourescent, lol.

On a side note, I'm gonna go rescue the old light setup from the trash and post it. I have no idea what it is, so I'll be posting pictures. It's been bothering me, since he put it in there, that someone might be able to fix it & I have this need to keep my karma in tact.

If you want the cheaper florescent light I think homedepot has then pretty cheap

Thanks cu0ngsays, I have an entire box of standard, run-of-the-mill flourescent lights but nothing to put them into. The bulbs themselves aren't the issue. I just can't seem to generate enough electricity on my own to make them light up, lol.
