or if someone knows of a good cure for aiptasia lmk. I've tried aiptasia x before and it seemed to make it worse the last tank I had it with. It's barely starting in my 15 rimless so I wanna catch it before its to late.

Lemon juice? Really? Huh so I can literally just take a lemon. Squeeze the juice and it'll kill them? Should I have to worry about my corals or anything?

I just pull them out with tongs/tweezers when one pops up but if you have alot that could be tedious.

you have to inject them with lemon juice.

i only have 2. one on my blue zoa frag and the other right under my favia frag. I read that you can block their living hole with reef epoxy so i'm trying that right now. going to give it a week or so and see how it does.

I've always used an insulin needle and lemon juice.

Bring the needle tip up to the mouth and let it close up around it and then pierce and inject.

You can catch as many peppermint shrimp as you want in Galveston. Go to the jettys at night and use a big scoop net. Drag the net along the rocks and voila... plenty of peppermints. I've caught 40 in an hour before.

As long as your tank parameters are stable, the only factor is salinity. Test both tank and Galveston water to see how far they are from one another. If there is a minute difference, just scoop them out and throw them in the tank. I never acclimated my peppermints. They are very hardy. If you want to acclimate them then just use airline tubing to drip into the holding container until most of the water is tank water.
