I've caught plenty from galveston as well and usually just dump into a qt tank for a few days before adding to my tank.

How do I need to transport them. Heater.bait bucket. Bubbler. Or do I even need a heater

5 gallon bucket and bubbler box from Walmart. Heater not needed as long as its a day trip. If you will be keeping them in your hotel room etc for a few days, then I would use a heater.

You will probably catch a few small fish in the net. I think that are some sort of goby. Also a type of anemone is available on the jettys. Do a search on the Marsh forum for peppermints in Galveston. There is a detailed write up on what you can collect and if its reef safe. It's been about 6 years since I last collected so I am sure there are some updates.

Each time I went I have caught almost all of what he has posted except for the Angler and pipefish.

Sorry to hear about ur pup. My pup is sick as well she hurt her eye on something and i think she may be blind in that eye now but to soon to tell.

Not a problem. After your trip, let us know what you caught. I have always enjoyed going out and catching what goes into my tanks instead of buying in a store. I have not been able to do so lately, but still like seeing what other people are catching. Have fun and good luck.
