BEWARE of this seller!!!!!

He has posted this Purple Tang, these clowns, corals, rock and a 180g tank for sale on several different Reef Clubs in the area and has members who have committed to buying the fish, corals, rock and tank.. but this seller has given so many different excuses, it's rediculous. He told me the tang was sold, already. Another member, he told, the Purple tang was sick and he was gonna make sure it was alright before selling it. That was a couple of days ago. I guess the Purple tang had a miraculous recovery if it's for sale again on this site.

Just wanted to pass this along, so you guys wouldn't be surprised when he changes his mind.

I know the member that he just purchased all the coral and livestock from and I think he would be very dissappointed if he knew what was happening with fish and coral that he had had for years! I do hope that these corals and fish go to someone who will take good care of them.

The corals and fish were bought off a site called LARC ,yeas a really nice set up ,yes had it hold to one of the members on Larc ,we are new to saltwater and when we picked up the stuff he was a deep purple when we got him home he turned a light blueish color did not know why ,thought was sick ,i work off shore and girlfriend said was still real light color ,she told the member that was going to buy it was sick becaue it was faded color ,told him i would be back tuesday to see how the fish was doing and he said deal would be off due to they are leaving on vacation , and also on the post on larc it states WHAT!!!!! Gaugeing instread , So before you try to start stuff i waould try to get facts strait ,I would hope if someone was going to to sale something on either site and they thought something was wrong with it then would not sell till know it's healthy pm's have been replyed some offers were lps and clams after that post was stated what was type was looking for ,It,s like the tank was bought from someone on this site ,was told no problums with it ,we got it home cleaned up and built stand ,was to big to start up in a qwick time and my girlfriend found the livestock for sale she bought it ,but did not realize how much money it was going to take to get the 180 going and the stuff we bought had to be reset up ,but had made a deal on it ,so we bought ,due to great deal and he needed sold due to working out of country ,well they were trying to clean tank and when tighten bulkhead the back glass has 2 inch crack from where was drilled ,was told when filled would keep cracking so why sell if know could fell

Lets see told you sold Right! Because i had on hold for other member ,them the member was holding for made sure the fish was going to be ok due to thinking was sick ,and not taking his money and give him what we thought was a sick fish I think that is being honest

Your stories don't add up, is what I'm saying. Here are some examples from your post and pm's.

1. You mention a girlfriend to one member. You mention a wife to another.
2. Tank is cracked 1/2" in one post. And 2" in a member's pm.
3. You say you work in Katy Texas, and then you say you work off-shore.
4. You tell one member you'll be home from work on Saturday, and tell another member you'll be home on the 23rd, which is Wed.

I could go on and on, but this is enough examples to prove my statement. As for the Purple tang, I saw the pm from you that stated that that member would be first in line, once it colored up again. He didn't get a pm from you stating that it looked good and you decided to sell it again. He only saw it, when he was informed to this post.


Also, LARC has a selling policy that you have to list a price, when selling anything in the livestock/equipment threads. If you wanted to just Guage Interest, that probably could have been posted in another forum. That way members would not waste their time trying to buy something, while you're just thinking about selling.
