Man, that's crazy about those snakeheads! I know that there is an aquatic snail that is quarantined to Texas. It's an apple snail commonly called a "canna" and I'm about to acquire some from an unnamed source!
They are contained because they will eat any and all plants--dead or alive. I have some really gross moss in my pond and I will be putting as many as I can in there to get rid of it. I'm tired of not being able to even fish in the pond because of the stinking moss! I'm so excited, but it's kinda a bad practice...oh well, it's only going to be my isolated little pond...
