Im not sure what he is.  so help me out.  well hes helpin his way outta my tank.  Few months ago i got a yellow lab that was beatup and ended up dieing.  well now i have a blue ahli that is beautiful.  hes beatup and dieing.  this guy below is the culpurite i believe.  he basically owns one side of the tank.  He will drive everyone off from that side of the tank.  Including my big green severums that are like 6 times his size.  he is really aggressive to all.  i never saw him hurtin anyone but im almost sure its him.  hes really mean.  i figured my severums woulda calmed him but they didnt.  when every single fish in the tank congregates on one side of the tank and he is all over there by himself.  im sure hes mean.  lol.   so here he his.  bid away.

He looks like a Mbuna.  What kind I'm not sure.

He's a good looking fish, have you thought about getting him a few girls to see if that helps?

yeah i did but i dont have room in the tank right now for anymore. some of my other africans had babys and my tank is kinda over stockd right now till i move some severums outta there.  do yall think a women would help him.  this is the second fish that had gotten hurt in  like 3 months.  and im reallly leanin to him as the culprit.  i love his color hes a beauty but i can afford him to hurt everyone.

He'd probably like 2 or 3 better than one,  and the more girls he has taking his time up the less time he'll have to beat anybody up.

yeah i just dont have room for that.  not for now at least.  i will in a couple or three weeks but now i dont and he has the whole tank pushed to one side and wont let anyone over there hardly with him.  hes beautiful little guy and obviously very much in need of a good women but hes killed 1 and has committed a brutal beating on another.  his 3rd strike is not gonna be possible.  someone wants him right.  or trade me for a nice one.   hell ill take almost any nice african of the malawi lake kind.

He's either a Hongi or a red top afra. How much are you asking for him?My wife has 2 in her 105 and they scuffle but it is a Mbuna tank (aka rock dweller tank) so everybody in that tank is agrresive! My wife has a Red zebra that is about 5 inches that is the boss in that tank he wil get put him in his place real quick.

I would say that he is a Hongi for sure.  I have a backwards mix of them...2M/1F and the two males fight constantly.  They are in a tank that has some dominant Peacocks so they keep the two in check and fighting with each other only.  If you get more of them, get females for sure....no more males.

Yeah I had them together for about a year and  i thought everything was great. Until I seperated them and you wouldn't beleive the difference I saw in as little as a week.The colors got brilliant and the personality of the fish changed.Does your peacocoks swim on top and your Mbuna stay or dominate the bottom.

yeah, when i get my 125 set up I will have two seperate areas set up to better replicate Malawi with rocky area on one side and an open area on the other.
