i would not put jungle val in a ten gallon. they grow way too quickly in all directions. try cork screw or italian val. better yet go with saggitaria. they are smaller but have a similar look in terms of growth

I have some crypts one java fern and some amazon all for 15

I have corkscrew val. It grows pretty well in the right conditions. We had some in a three gallon not too long ago and it took over the whole tank. The 33 tall has some taller than the tank. Thats about 20".

not to tell you what you want, but most vals grow very quickly once established and wont block off the tank like jungle val will. i felt my 75 was too small for it without constant trimming. i have corkscrew val now and it stays shorter than 18". there will be some at the GHAC meeting for sure
